Terms of Use

By using the Service, creating an account or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you purchase a membership, the membership and payment terms below apply. If you use our AI features, the AI Services Disclaimer also applies. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Garage Points, driver levels, badges, achievements, Game scores and unlocks recognize participation. They are a courtesy recognition system, not property: they have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for money, and they are not a currency, credit or rewards program.

Membership payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. The Supporter membership is available for purchase now; the Pro membership is shown as coming soon and cannot be purchased. We may limit, pause or close purchases at any time, and the terms in this section apply to any membership you purchase. You enter your card and billing details directly with Stripe, subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy notice; we never receive or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive your subscription status and membership tier, the end of your current paid period, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, a payment identifier that does not reveal your card, your billing country and any tax information required for the sale.

The Supporter membership is $3.00 US per month. Membership is a recurring subscription that renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account through Stripe's billing portal or by contacting support; cancellation stops future renewals and keeps your benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax, which is added where required. Partial months are not prorated and we do not provide refunds for time already elapsed in a paid period, except where required by law. If a payment fails we may retry it through Stripe and may pause membership benefits until a payment succeeds. We may change the price or the benefits with notice before your next renewal.

Paid benefits are additive: they never remove or paywall a feature free members already have. Supporter adds a Supporter badge, up to 5 active deal listings instead of 3, listings that stay live for 60 days instead of 30, and further supporter recognition. Membership does not buy moderation outcomes, featured placement, Community Spotlight selection, earned badges, levels or unlocks, verification of any listing, or any exemption from these Terms or from the limits that protect the community against spam.

The Service is a shared garage for sim racing gear, rigs, settings, technique and the spaces we race in. These rules apply to rigs, car builds, listings, comments, votes, garage content and every other contribution. Critique the build, not the builder: budget, console and DIY setups are as welcome as high-end ones, and gatekeeping is not. You agree not to:

“Your content” means anything you submit: photos and images, rig profiles, car builds and setup notes, listings, reviews, ratings, comments, links, garage content and any other text or file. Everything you submit must be yours to submit.

You keep ownership of your content. Nothing in these Terms transfers your copyright to us.

By submitting content you grant the Company and its affiliated properties a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to host, store, resize, cache, display, feature, discuss, reproduce, distribute and promote that content across Drive Standard Garage, Go Gear Drives, Drive Standard Brand and future affiliated properties for community, educational, editorial and promotional purposes. That license is what lets us operate the Service — for example generating thumbnails and serving pages through a content delivery network — and it also means your content may be referenced or discussed in Go Gear Drives videos, livestreams, articles, podcasts, newsletters and other Company media. We aim to credit your screen name.

Deleting the content or your account ends future use under that license, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period, copies already published in third-party media such as YouTube videos, and copies others have lawfully saved or shared.

Third-party paid advertising, product packaging and printed merchandise use still requires your separate, specific written permission. Before content is used off-platform, including for an “As Seen on Go Gear Drives” feature, we record the request, your approval and any conditions you set, and you may revoke that permission at any time.

If you submit feedback, ideas or feature suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.

You are solely responsible for your content and for holding the rights needed to submit it. Do not upload copyrighted, trademark-infringing, defamatory, illegal or misleading material, manufacturer or retailer product images, press photos, or Drive Standard Garage Track Trial assets. Get consent from any identifiable person in a photo. We do not pre-screen content and do not guarantee its accuracy; opinions posted by members are their own.

Publishing is not a promise of promotion. Posting on the Service does not guarantee a feature on Go Gear Drives, on any Company channel, on the home page or in any featured placement. Featured placements are editorial decisions and may be added, changed or withdrawn at any time.

Drive Standard Garage Track Trial is a fictional work. Unless expressly identified otherwise, all characters, racing teams, automotive manufacturers, vehicle makes and models, organizations, events, story elements, and related names depicted in or created for Drive Standard Garage Track Trial are fictional and are provided for entertainment purposes.

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or deceased, real-world racing teams, automotive manufacturers, companies, organizations, vehicles, events, or other entities is coincidental and is not intended to imply any association, affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, approval, or relationship between Drive Standard Brand LLC and any such person or entity.

References to fictional characters, teams, manufacturers, vehicles, organizations, or events within Drive Standard Garage Track Trial should not be interpreted as representations of actual persons, businesses, products, or organizations unless expressly identified otherwise.

When you post to the deals area you must state your connection to the listing: it is either your own listing, or a publicly available deal you found and want to share. You must choose accurately, and you must not claim a listing is yours when it is not. That label is your own statement — we do not verify ownership, authorization, availability, price or seller identity, and no label is an endorsement or guarantee by us.

The Service does not process purchases or payments and is not a marketplace, payment processor or escrow provider. Purchases for products linked through the Service are completed on the applicable external store, marketplace or seller, whose terms govern payment, shipping, fulfillment, returns, refunds, warranties, product condition and availability. Some linked products may be sold by Drive Standard Brand LLC through a separate external storefront; others are offered by independent retailers, marketplaces or community members. Either way, the transaction happens on the external site, and we cannot cancel an order, chase a shipment, arbitrate a dispute or issue a refund.

We do not review listings before they appear, and moderation is reactive. We make no representation or warranty about the existence, authenticity, condition, safety, legality or ownership of any item, the identity or good faith of any seller, the accuracy or currency of prices, discounts, stock, shipping or delivery estimates, specifications and compatibility claims, whether an item is still available, or warranty, returns and after-sales support. You are solely responsible for evaluating any listing, seller or website before you buy, and you assume all risk of loss arising from third-party transactions. See Limitation of liability below.

The Service contains links posted by members and by us to external sites such as Facebook Marketplace, eBay, retailer websites, forums and video platforms. We do not control those sites, do not verify their listings, and are not responsible for their content, policies, prices, availability, shipping, safety or conduct. Once you follow a link, that site's terms, privacy policy, payment methods, buyer protection and dispute processes apply, and you assume all risk for transactions you enter into there.

Before you leave the Service through an outbound link, we show a confirmation notice with the destination address. Links to official Drive Standard domains — such as drivestandardbrand.com and drivestandardgarage.com — are on an administrator-maintained trusted list and open without that notice. The notice is a convenience only: it is not a security guarantee, an endorsement or a warranty about any destination site.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or should be removed for another reason, use the removal request form on our Copyright & Content Removal page, or email support@drivestandardgarage.com. You do not need an account to send us a request, and that page explains what we need and how we handle it.

We review each request, may ask for more information, and may remove, restrict or decline — and we may also act on our own initiative. We do not operate a fixed strikes system: we handle repeat infringement flexibly, and repeated or serious infringement can lead to loss of upload privileges or permanent termination. If your content was removed and you hold the rights to it, contact support and we will review the decision. Trademark, privacy and other complaints use the same route.

We may review, edit, hide, restrict, disable, refuse or remove any content submitted to the Service — including photos and images, text, comments, reviews, car builds, rigs, links, listings, profile and garage content — at our discretion, with or without prior notice, and we may lock or remove comments on any item. We may also decline to publish or feature a submission, and we may require pre-publication review. Submitting content does not guarantee publication or continued availability.

Reporting: every comment, listing, review, rig, Learn item and profile has a report control, and anyone — with or without an account — can send us a removal request through the Copyright & Content Removal page or by emailing support@drivestandardgarage.com (privacy matters: privacy@drivestandardgarage.com). Include links and a short description. Reports are private, and we never tell the reported member who filed one. You can file one report per item per reason and reporting is rate limited; filing more reports does not speed up review, and bad-faith, duplicate or retaliatory reports may lead to action on your own account. A moderator may email you from our service address for more detail — we never ask for passwords or payment details.

Some moderation work is carried out by trusted staff. Administrators hold full access. Moderators are volunteers or team members granted a limited set of permissions by an administrator, and they act on our behalf when reviewing reports, removing content, warning members or managing events.

Only administrators and moderators granted a specific reporter-contact permission can see a reporter's email address; those views and messages are audited.

Events are published only by our staff. Members cannot submit events. Listing an event is editorial coverage, not an endorsement or a partnership.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, including free features, and may set reasonable usage limits. Some features are labeled as coming soon and may change or never launch.

Some optional garage themes include decorative visual effects such as blinking cursors, pulsing highlights, floating panels or high-contrast neon detail. Before such a theme is applied for the first time we show a Visual Effects Notice and you choose whether to continue with effects, use the reduced-motion version, or cancel. Every theme with effects includes a reduced-motion version at no extra cost, your device's reduced-motion setting is respected by default, and you can change or disable effects at any time under Motion & visual effects. These are display preferences only and never change your access to any other feature.

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that information (including gear specifications, prices, reviews and guides) is accurate or current, or that any result will be achieved from using it. Guides, setup advice and any AI-assisted output are informational only and are not professional advice.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

We are not liable for disputes between members, or between a member and any third-party seller, retailer or website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in the State of Minnesota, United States will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief where necessary to protect its intellectual property.

If the consumer-protection law of your state of residence gives you rights that cannot be waived, nothing here deprives you of those rights.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the effective date and record the change in the revision history, and for material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
